Page 1 of 2 - RCT2 without CD - posted in Ask the Experts: So I want to play RCT2 without the CD, because I never know where it is and am mostly out of house using my laptop. As I remembered the CD has to be in the exact same drive to play as it has been during installation, I installed the game from an iso image using daemon tools. This works fine. How can I play Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 Platinum without a disk? Have an icon on your desktop it should open from there. If not then go to my computer and then you will see the virtual drive there. Right click the icon you see and click explore. Is it possible to start Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 without a disk?

What do you need to know about free software?
HeyWell, my laptops disc drive has been broken a while. I really wanted to play RCT2, so I installed it via USB. But I can't play it because you need the CD to play. There is a No CD patch. And so far I've tryed two, one is a plain EXE. You just swap the real RCT one with that. The other I don't understand how to work, it's called regsetup.EXE. My problem is.... I got the plain EXE to work, but it doesn't work with the Time Twister pack (which I have as part of Triple Thrill Pack). Anyone ever used this?
